An Open Letter To Scorpio For July 2022
Dear Scorpio,
How are you keeping my secretively sensitive friend? Are you still peddling madly to keep up the pretence of being a heartless individual of incomprehensible cunning? A veritable Machiavellian King or Queen of intrigue; motivated by a compulsive desire to usurp the reins of power and authority in every sphere of your personal activity? By popular reputation, the average Scorpio is incapable of being anything other than a totally unprincipled self-seeker without any redeeming qualities whatsoever.
In fact, this not a character analysis at all: it's a character assassination! Yes, real world Scorpios will fight tooth and claw to defend their rights and protect those they love. That is something of which to be proud, and I commend you for it. Real world Scorpios are – in my opinion – highly principled individuals who do not count the personal cost of living a highly principled life. They are passionate people who champion many worthy causes and are not afraid to challenge the commonly accepted status quo when they perceive a need to do so. Moreover, they are – on the whole – brave, courageous and virtually indomitable. Yes, they can be uncompromising. Yes, they might be quick to anger and slow to forgive. That's because they strictly adhere to a set of principles, which they can not compromise or adapt quickly to changing circumstances. It takes them time. Scorpio live by their own rules. If they do have a fault, it is perhaps an ability (or reluctance) to acknowledge how base some other human beings can become. This fact alone is capable of provoking misunderstanding and conflict in intimate personal relationships. And much else besides.
Moreover, Scorpio are capable of an intense Spiritual regeneration – rebirth – something denied to many other seekers after truth. That is to say, they can metamorphosize from Sinner to Saint in a remarkably short period of time. And – regrettably – regress back in an instant! Sex can be problematical for many Scorpios. Some become addicted to it; while others shun it as a perceived distraction in their quest for Spiritual perfection. Life to many highly evolved Scorpio is like walking upon a tight-rope suspended between two sky scrappers: they endeavour to walk that bit closer to God (however/whatever they perceive Him to be) but risk a catastrophic fall from grace if they put a foot wrong. It's their choice. They wouldn't have it any other way.
Nevertheless, you are a survivor. This is a richly deserved accolade bestowed upon many Scorpios. You believe in doing the right thing and won't spit your dummy out and stomp-off into the distance at the first sign of trouble. You will fight the good fight to protect the weak and vulnerable. Furthermore, you are loyal and trustworthy. Indeed, you will fulfil your personal obligations and surmount whatever obstacles block your way. That's what Scorpio do best. Nevertheless, you will still feel the pain and heartache. But you won't admit it. Why? Because you have your “image” to protect. But enough of this introspection. Let us turn our attention to the heavens above and attempt to discern what the future may hold for you.
Week One:
Domestic issues are top of the agenda for many Scorpios. Is your home life unfolding in a way that engenders satisfaction and a sense of wellbeing, or, is there room for improvement if you simply “jiggle” things around a bit? Depending upon your Natal Horoscope, this could require nothing more than a bit of tinkering with some minor external inconsequentialities, or, a wholesale revamp of your domestic situation. Each to their own.
One essential, pivotal assessment might be the impact your plans have upon other family members. If you are at the young end of the age spectrum, then the emotional impact upon your estranged parents might be the deciding factor. Conversely, if you are thirty-something, your primary concern might be your own children's future. There again, if you are fifty-plus, your calculations might focus upon the long-term physical welfare of your ageing parents, or, even your young Great-Grandchildren.
Each category will present its own unique set of problems and require its own finally nuanced and targeted solution. Consequently, there will be no one “quick-fix” solution applicable to all age groups. You will have to ponder over the matter at length and perhaps encounter some emotional turmoil as a consequence.
Changing tack for a moment, a friend might invite you to join a gym with them or make some constructive suggestions as to improving your diet or life-style choices. Furthermore, communication might focus upon work or career issues. Having trouble with your door-locks? This might be a good time to nip future troubles in the bud by consulting a proficient locksmith.
Week Two:
The majority of your family and friends provide you with encouragement and support. However, one viper in the nest feels embolden enough to challenge your authority by snipping from the sidelines. This could provoke a heated debate in your family circle and even escalate into a dispute which affects some aspect of your working life. Many creative Scorpios will receive inspiration, while others might find true love, romance and their soul-mate. Which would you prefer?
Week Three:
Many of my readers might have reason to celebrate as their struggle to implement far-reaching transformations reach a crescendo this week. In addition, a smiling Neptune facilitates stolen moments of romantic love, sexual ecstasy and Spiritual Enlightenment. All in proportional measure to your past endeavours. In short: the more effort you chose to invest in any (or all) of the above activities will determine how much you get out in the immediate future. A kind of “Instant Karma”, so to speak!
Interestingly, a new and confidential undertaking might begin to bear fruit. But you must not allow your dreams and fantasies to influence your real-world decision-making processes. This is especially true if you are playing the stock market for the first time, or, having a flutter with money you can not afford to lose.
Week Four:
Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, is in harmonious aspect to Mercury. This bodes well for the majority of students; taxi drivers; teachers; writers and intellectuals of every ilk. Indeed, this is a potentially opportune moment for almost everyone to expand their skill set or seek to enhance their career prospects. In addition, Mars (Scorpio's traditional rules) snuggles in a loose embrace with inventive but unpredictable Uranus. This – I'm inclined to suspect – is indicative of Draconian changes for some and minor innovations for many more. Indeed, this might translate into a bit of welcome excitement for those whose daily routine is in need of shaking up a little.

But I think it's only proper to remind you that I'm only human and therefore prone to error. So let my final words be “take care of yourself because you really matter”. Why? Because you are the UNIVERSE writ small. You are that special!!
