As we are born into a new lifetime there is a part of us that is ready for new challenges, new experiences and grateful for the opportunity to try again, to right past wrongs and create a life that resonates with unconditional love and joy. That is the purpose of each lifetime, to walk an old path in a new way. But there is another part of us that is apprehensive, afraid and unsure, doubting whether we will be successful in yet another attempt to shift energy, embrace new paradigms and heal our soul wounds. And that is also the purpose of each lifetime, to overcome these fears, embrace the challenges and rise above them. Life is a celebration, an honorable journey and an opportunity for us to joyfully embrace our humanity as a way for us to express our spirituality.
With each life challenge we have reasons to celebrate our life journey. We can celebrate the learning, understanding and new perspectives that become our new energetic paradigm. We can celebrate the fact that we have been given an amazing opportunity to re-live an experience and choose a different path, to change the aspects of every energetic exchange we have with everyone in our soul group and lead the way to a different kind of interaction. But we often do the opposite by getting stuck in our emotional patterns and forgetting our ultimate objective of overcoming them.
The energy on earth is dense because it carries all of the unresolved emotional energy that we have left here over countless lifetimes, from the unfinished business that we leave behind us each time we are unable to find closure with our karma and complete healing cycles. If we view each new lifetime as an opportunity to resolve this unfinished business we can avoid what often happens to us when we get into a karmic cycle with someone and stop at the lesson, repeating it over and over again, not understanding why the situation or the other person isn’t changing.
And then we move onto the next relationship or interaction, which is yet another opportunity for us to change the energy and we still get stuck. Instead of a celebration, our life becomes a challenge, a sad story that we cannot seem to resolve, no matter how hard we try. This happens because we stop the energy movement, getting stuck in the emotions, before we take the next step towards their resolution. We are stuck in the illusion of the outcome, based on the past, and forget that this is what we have come to change.
The world is our illusion and everything in it corresponds to what we perceive as true. No two people see the world in the same way because we see the world through our own eyes. What is true for one person is not true for another because our material truth is also an illusion based on our perceptions. The sacredness of our life journey is not a moral issue; it is a spiritual directive because we are here as spiritual warriors, dedicated to shifting energy and creating new paradigms for ourselves and for all of humanity. To do this we have to dispel our individual illusions of the pain, fear, drama and separation and choose to embrace a higher perspectives. The tool we have been given to do this with is our free will.
We speak of free will as something that we use to override our spiritual nature, to choose fear and all of its aspects instead of unconditional love that is ours by divine right. Our free will is not a curse -- it is a divine blessing, which gives us the power over the human/mental aspect of our nature. With our free will we can live by choice and create the reality we wish to live in. Free will is what we use to choose darkness over light, karma over creation or our humanity over our spirituality. It is what we use to decide whether we will stay in our emotional pain and drama or rise above it, remaining in the density of the earth’s energy or transmuting it into higher vibrations. Whether we will use each lifetime as a celebration of our divinity or further proof of our sadness and failure is up to us. What do we choose?
Each generation brings in new ideas, energies and ways of thinking. Fifty years ago it was unthinkable that black and white children would peacefully share a classroom, that women would earn more than men, that we could speak of a global economy or that countries would come together to agree on ways to promote global peace. And yet that is what we have today. It is our way of acknowledging that we are responsible for the change that must occur. This responsibility belongs to each one of us, for we cannot expect the world to change without contributing to that change ourselves. Whatever we are unwilling to change in our own life we cannot expect to change in the world around us. And conversely, whatever we are willing to change within our individual reality will change in the world.
It is time for us to change our perception of life, from that of a necessary and painful burden to a new appreciation for the sacredness of what we have volunteered to do. It is our task with each lifetime but this time is different, we have new tools, energy, perspectives, teachers and a willingness to embrace our spirituality to become ‘spiritual humans’. We will not abandon our humanity but will infuse it with a new energy, giving us more reasons to celebrate our journey here. We can celebrate how far we have come even if we do not think we are at the end of the journey because each celebration solidifies the energy and allows to remember why we are here, the mission we have agreed to fulfill and to see ourselves as spiritual warriors, fulfilling a promise we made long ago, to bring heaven on earth.
